We have been awarded a  grant from the UK for the current financial year (ending 31 March 2014) which will cover our general overheads as well as all the expenses of running free clay classes for a small selection of partner organisations in Cape Town.

However, we are constantly inundated with requests from organisations around South Africa who are desperate for the kind of support we offer. In addition, there is huge demand for skills development.  It appears that the technical pottery skills are in high demand.  In order to expand our reach and to continue develop programmes to meet the needs of OVC around the country, we are reliant on the support of the public.

If you believe in what we stand for and would like to make a financial contribution towards our outreach arm, please DONATE NOW. Light From Africa Foundation is a Section 21 non-profit organisation and all contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Supporting us through your business will also allow for the maximum allocation of points towards the Social Economic Development section of your BEE scorecard.

Should you be looking for more creative ways to get involved, raise funds or donate your skills/time, please contact us !
