Our Art Hub in the Forest is bustling with creative energy this Spring and we are delighted to share our line up for the month of October with you – as well as offer a sneak peek into the remainder of this year’s happenings!

The season is on its way and we are getting ready to restock our shelves with new work! Please join us for coffee this Saturday when we will be offering reduced prices on all current stock – including an array of beautiful works by our resident artists as well as Imiso Ceramics and all the featured artists in our gorgeous new boutique!

Porcelain Showcase Opening       6pm – 8pm 

Porcelain is a complicated and mysterious medium! Join us for light refreshments at the opening of a special group exhibition by various contemporary ceramic artists who each reflect the different approaches to this magical, alchemical clay.  Our porcelain showcase reveals works by Lisa Firer, Ann Marais, Anthony Shapiro, Christina Bryer, Karen Sinovich, Rae Goosen, Sarah Walters, David Walters, Sandy Godwin, Kate van Putten and Di-Heesom Green. Workshop: Awakening Creativity            10am-4pm 

 Art in the Forest is an ideal venue for art classes and workshops. This month we are delighted to present a journey of awakening creativity over two Saturdays, facilitated by Cheryl Adler.  With no previous art experience required, participants will have the opportunity to work with charcoal and chalk pastel on paper as well as learn to model with clay, paint onto clay and paint wet into wet!
